Quality Assurance Tool Maintenance
DSA has implemented a thorough Quality Assurance system which ensures that every tool re-dressed is in proper working condition. There is no place in a customer’s well for damaged or worn tools!
After every job each tool is accounted for by the supervisor who ran the job. Used tools are torn down, cleaned and blasted. All components are visually inspected for wear/damage and critical components also undergo NDE inspection by certified Level II inspectors DSA employs.
Tools not meeting DSA criteria are either re-worked, re-dressed or re-placed to bring the component back into working condition.
As an example of DSA’s thorough QA system Top Subs on Slim-line Coil Tubing Connectors are discarded, thus ensuring mechanical integrity for the next job.
Wire-line is cleaned and inspected after each job by a qualified vendor.
